Start date

In the default alerts Profit uses the Simulated start date field: this is the start date of the case of absence, reduced by the total continuous absence days from the last preceding absence entry.

Example:

An employee has the following absence entries:

  • Entry 1: 06-01-2014 - 13-01-2014 (8 days)
  • Entry 2: 20-01-2014 - 21-01-2014

This is considered to be continuous absence. The simulated start date for entry 2 is 12-01-2014 (= 20-01-2014 -/- 8 days).

You should copy this and then adjust it (among other things for setting the correct destination) before you can start using it. In the alerts data collection, this start date is entered in the Simulated start date for ongoing absence field.

Other alerts

In addition, Profit also has the following alerts:

  • Employee/Substitute during absence (Profit)
  • Absence/Employee 3 or sick more often in current year (Profit)
